The PositionAs the Dealer Strategy Manager, you're a senior strategic advisor to clients and program/OEM field teams and a key face of the business.
Your primary responsibility is to grow dealer relationships through consultative practices, including quarterly and/or biannual strategy sessions (also known as Market Assessments).
You'll regularly travel to lead in person meetings and attend regional OEM and general automotive events As an extension of your consulting practices, you'll coach Strategists responsible for the delivery of marketing services (set up, execution and reporting).
You'll instruct them on specific strategies and tactics to grow accounts and reduce churn, and you'll lead by example through your consulting sessions.
Your success will be quantitatively measured by the collective net growth of the accounts you're assigned and the number of specific growth opportunities you originate - either directly (via dealers) or indirectly (via program partners, OEMs).
ResponsibilitiesConsult clients and grow accounts Consult clients on proactive, big picture strategies and tactics to keep them ahead of the competition Identify specific growth opportunities and work with Business Development Executives and/or Strategists to realize them Surface churn risks and mitigate through strong client communication and cross-departmental collaboration Maintain advanced expertise in digital advertising, SEO, tracking and analytics and related subjects.
Establish field presence and build brand awareness Lead in person strategy sessions with clients and regional OEM and program representatives Attend key automotive and partner events Develop a professional network for purposes of account growth and referral opportunities Lead presentations and/or webinars regarding key digital marketing subjects Lead strategists Meet regularly to discuss growth opportunities and churn risks and prep for consulting sessions Assign tasks to improve client satisfaction and account performance and establish visibility to ensure follow through Teach methods for analyzing accounts and solving cross-departmental problems.
Model consulting best practices:
how to lead meetings, present findings, spot opportunities and concerns, ask good questions, close with takeaways, etc.
Job QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
You are our ideal Dealer Strategy Manager if:
You have a proven track record of driving company growth via sales or sales-focused account management (cross-selling and upselling) You have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota expectations You have strong written and verbal communication skills You have experience presenting analysis/findings to marketing managers and senior business leaders and distilling technical information into terms they can understand You've demonstrated success building a professional network for purposes of advancing a company's growth goals You've demonstrated above-average proficiency in the technical aspects of digital advertising and SEO You have strong attention to detail and follow through You work well with others and have an interest in coaching/mentoring strategists to achieve account growth goals Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent job experience is required.
At least 3 years of experience in an account management and/or sales roles Experience in the automotive industry--with an understanding of marketing tiers, co-op rules, and certified programs--is preferred but not required Travel:
This is a client-facing role with in-person meetings and presentations with clients required; travel within the United States up to 33% of the time is to be expected.
Location:
This position is based in Portland, OR.
Must be able to work a flexible, hybrid schedule averaging two days in our Pearl District office per week.
Salary Range:
Base salary range of $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience.
Performance pay with an annual target variable of $30,000.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
